✨ MOUNT MONTSERRAT

A Catholic Store by a Lay Convert in Colorado

Mount Montserrat is more than a name — it is a legacy.

Founded by Meegan Talara Llansó, a lay Catholic convert whose heart was shaped by the quiet, steadfast faith of her Spanish‑Catalan family, this store rises from a lineage of devotion that stretches back generations.

Her father’s family carried a deep Catholic identity, woven through the Llansó line like a thread of gold. One of his great‑aunts bore the name Montserrat, a name cherished in Catalonia and honored in your own family. Montserrat's younger sister, Josephina “Pepita” Llansó, longed to become a nun. She died at just thirteen after contracting polio from a public water fountain — a loss that marked her family with sorrow, reverence, and a profound awareness of the fragility of life.

Her grandfather lived his Catholic faith with devotion, and though she came to the Church later — as a lay convert — she has followed in his footsteps with sincerity and love. Mount Montserrat is her way of carrying that torch forward.

Meegan is deeply Catholic, and loves the truth, beauty, and clarity of the Catholic faith. She cherishes the profound Catholic theology that rescued and reshaped her life. As a convert who once knew very little about the faith, she now feels called to share the real knowledge of the Church with the world — the kind of knowledge that strengthens a soul, enriches a life, and draws a person closer to Jesus. Mount Montserrat is her way of spreading the faith that saved her and sharing the One who saved her — Jesus, the Lord and King — through her Catholic store, Mount Montserrat.

A Store Shaped by Spanish Catholic Heritage

The Llansó family history is steeped in Catholic Spain — a lineage of Catalan sea captains, men of courage and conviction, all of them Catholic. Their stories, their faith, and their devotion form the foundation of this store.
